Foster care is a unique and challenging role that leads all those people who raise the children they did not give birth to, towards the path of special life experience – giving the best part of themselves to others, while doing good for others, at the same time, they build and receive a lot of good themselves.

Foster care is a measure of protection provided for the child:

  • without parental care or
  • under parental care while the child experiences certain difficulties in mental and physical development or experiences behavioral disorder and
  • in cases when the child is temporarily unable to live with biological parents.
